Family of Hilda
I, Marie Chase, worked with Hilda for many years as a nurse on the Acute Surgical Unit. She had quick whit, lots of empathy for her patients, listening ear for coworkers, provide new nurses consults, and quick as a whip on her feet. She valued conversing with her patients; but that sometimes, put her behind and lead to an extra duties being placed on the incoming relief nurse. She popped into motion for any patient or staff emergency and rendered essential emergency assistance. She really was an awesome nurse and I was fortunate to get to know her as a nurse but more importantly as a kind and empathetic person. May her memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all who knew her or employed with her. I extend my deepest condolences and offer my heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Hilda’s family.
