Rose Carolyn and family, The hard part of the journey is over for Leslie. He has fought the good fight and he has been called home. For all of you a portion of your fight is over, while another equally difficult one begins - healing, and adjusting one's life to a new reality without the physical presence of someone you have loved for a very long time. Rose Carolyn, Dottie told us about Leslie's passing last night at Sail Sets. I have fond memories of dancing with Leslie at MCCA and he advanced week-end. I know Don and I shared a meal with you two at one of these events. I found him so interesting to listen to, especially his stories on his square dancing experiences. He will be missed by everybody in the square dance world.

So sorry to hear of Les passing but we know that the last few years have not been easy. Great memories of square dancing but he was in the A2 and beyond group ahead of us. He had patience and he and Rose Carolyn helped us out many times. We only knew them from dancing but reading the obituary diiscover all his accomplishments. A life well lived we would say.

Leslie accomplished much in both his legal profession and his family life. When I called to speak with Rose Carolyn, Leslie usually answered. I would ask him how things were, it was his children he spoke of. He would list each and every one of them and tell me how they each had excelled in their chosen careers. He did not mention any of the honours he had achieved, just his family. He was so proud of them. He will be missed and always remembered for the man he was.
