My sincere condolences to the Family. I remember many a Tim Horton Gift Card being passed along to the staff at Ross Drug. It was always a pleasure to look after the meds needed to travel to Arizona for the winter. My sons remember going to the house and seeing the huge Christmas Village set up in the Living room. I am a Simon niece and God daughter. We never lost touch and I loved her more like a mother. She never forgot me. Aunt Jo always called and texted. As a teenager she would call and ask me if I wanted to move there. When my son was killed she was 1st on phone wanting to travel in a snow storm to be with me from Arizona to Saint John. I said no weather was too bad but she was on the phone and email and sent me cards and loved me through it. Gina, Patti and I where all same age and with Dad spent most weekends in Fredericton. I am broken and my aunt jo got me back in the church she loved where my son's services were. Took few yrs but I had my hand on door handle and finally was able to enter. Now I have been there once since she went to heaven. I lit a candle and rate back home. Patti read her my last text and she got to hear it. It was like old days Me Patti Gina. But like after my son's funeral everyone gone. I miss the girls and my Dad. I know my aunt jo is with Nana and my son. So I am trying to keep my faith but hard without her. I love you and ty for loving me like I was yours. You were my rock n my home base. I saw thesign I prayed hard for. We will all be happy n all together again one day. I will with a family again and not left behind. Love you more than anyone like my Dad. Xoxo love Cindy ty for being you and always a call away. 2nd post but needed to say it. Sad story. We had a lot of fun on Tims events. Joanne did her best to keep me in line. Sometimes I stepped over that line and she scolded me severely, but it was only temporary and we were always good friends. She will be missed.
