My condolences to Floyds family. I worked with and beside Floyd off and on in Fredericton area for years. Last spoke with him at Base Gagetown 1995. I see we were almost same age. Floyd was always considerate and polite with me. Wendell Lemon-welder, pipefitter.

We are so sad to hear of Floyd's passing. So many years and so many memories - I have known Floyd all my life. He has been a wonderful uncle, a great brother to my mom, Marie Young, and a fine fishing guide! Rest in peace, Floyd.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Carol, Faith, Neveah, Ian and Georgie and all of Floyds extended family. Floyd came to my campground somewhere around 20 years ago and he along with Carol have been a big part of our summer family ever since. It didn’t take long until Floyd and I became friends. We went 4 wheeling together and shared many stories over a few pints of beer. Floyd loved his family and was a kind, honest and very generous person. He even gave me a nice little dump trailer that he made himself, said it was all paid for from the crown royal I use to give him as a thanks for using it., Floyd was very social and loved a good joke. One couldn’t pass by his trailer without being invited in for a chat and a drink. Floyd will be missed by everyone here, especially me, RIP my good friend.

Georgia, Carol, Ian, Faith and Nevaeh, I’m heartbroken at the loss of Floyd. I grew up knowing him, he welcomed me into his home, and treated me as family. And then he did the same with my daughter, making her feel welcomed and special when we were able to visit. He was truly a wonderful person. Carol, Ian, Georgie, Faith and Nevaeh, we are so saddened to hear of Floyd’s passing. We have many fond memories of time spent together over the years. The many hunting trips I took with Floyd & friends both in N.B. and NL are often remembered and relived with much laughter and amusement at how he could turn a dull moment into a memorable one with his stories of the time when he outdid us all with his success in bagging the record holding ones (fish or 4 legged) and of course we believed them all!
