my deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad Terry (and father in law George ) He certainly was a positive addition to the Veteran's Home . He lived a long wonderful life and leaves you with wonderful memories in your heart .
I have fond memories of Gil both when I was an Air Cadet and through the "Wing." He was a very exacting Parliamentarian on the Official Board making sure we were following the rules of order precisely. This was when I was introduced to Roget's Rules of Order and Gil made sure I knew them well. During my time as bartender at the Wing was when I really got to know him and he is one I will not soon forget.
I'm so sorry for your loss Gil was a great man I will always remember him and our love hate friendship we had as I cooked/served him at the DVA. Rest easy my friend. You will be missed. Amanda McKeen xxx
What a Great Guy! Always used to have something interesting to say or would ask something interesting. He taught me how he Drove/Steered a Car with his knee. Probably not the best of ideas I suppose but it seems to have worked out well for the both of us. What a Life he Lived.
Your whole family, Ginny&Gil included, made Lisgar in the 1970's one joyful adventure. Your Dad was such an enthusiastic character - am remembering him with a smile. Makes me homesick...
