I considered Sandy one of my best friends. Even though we didn't see each other much in later years, whenever we did get together, it was as if we had never been apart.
Kathryn, my heart goes out to you.

Dear Kathryn and Michael,
My most sincere condolences to you, the family, and her friends.
It was always a good time when Sandra visited Kathryn. She was always in for a game of cards and always happy to share a good laugh. I had to remind myself not to be mislead by her fragile demeanor – she was a card shark. Some years later I discovered this also applied to bowling. Thanks, Kathryn, for sharing your cool mom with us. She’ll be missed.
Sincerely,
Isabelle Bouvier

I will always remember going on “Sunday” drives with Sandy. Taking her the long way to Oromocto to buy TV bingo at Murray’s Book Nook because the cards there were the luckiest.
I will also remember Sandy’s love of gardening and how it spread to me and now to my children. I learned how to plant, compost, and tidy a garden from my Auntie. I also learned that a stump in your yard is an opportunity to plant something fun like cat mint or some flowers.
I miss you Sandy.
