Obituary of Clayton Wellwood Tupper
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Clayton Wellwood Tupper which occurred on January 19, 2025 at Hospice Fredericton. Born in Mosherville, Nova Scotia on March 8, 1936 he was the son of the late Wellesley and Lucetta (Thorpe) Tupper.
Clayton was retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1976 after twenty years of service. He went on to work with the New Brunswick Police Commission and Department of Finance for another twenty years before picking up his golf clubs.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Wilma (Ferguson) Tupper; son, Andrew (Catherine Burpee) Tupper; sister, Joan Brockelbank and sister-in-law, Dianne Tupper.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Earl Tupper and brother-in-law Chalid Brockelbank.
A graveside service will take place in St. Columba Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Marshfield, Prince Edward Island at a later date.
