My family and I extend our condolences to the Gorham Gang! We had the blessings of the "Queen Bee" when my family and I stayed at Carriage House Inn. Who can forget Joan's singing as we enjoyed breakfast? Joan had a soul-stirring voice. When she sang her sweet voice reached every heart.
I also know first hand how good Joan was at Scrabble. We played a few games and not-a-one did I win!
Joan was a church member at Skyline for 52 years. Her faith in her Saviour was visible and her music conveyed the joy found in Christ.
We feel her absence and are grateful to God for the blessings (lots of them) for knowing her and benefiting from her kindnesses.

Truly A great history of Gorham's Bluff & BrownsFlat. I am sure Joan is singing in heaven, Roberta (Gorham) MacKenzie Gagetown NB

When we moved to Fredericton in 1980 we began to worship at Skyline Actrs Baptist Church. Joan and Frank were well established there with Pastor Eric Davidson, David and Elizabeth Malcolm and many more wonderful Christian folks. Joan always made us feel welcome and belonging. There are many things to be said of Joan but suffice to mention a high point of the church family calendar. Every Christmas Eve we were blessed by Joan’s rendition of “O Holy Night”. We were richly blessed in knowing Joan! Sincere sympathy to all her family!

Aunt Joan will remain in our hearts for ever. She always had a kind word to say and a genuine smile to follow. We will cherish the countless memories, laughs, shenanigans and happy times together. Her love for her family was felt by all who knew her. She left a special mark on all who loved her or had the pleasure to meet her. The Reach was her favourite place and will feel a little empty from this day forward. Rest easy Aunt Joan; we are celebrating your reunion with Uncle Frank, Gram / Gramp and find comfort knowing you are in the arms of our saviour. Lynda and I are grieving along side of my cousins and mom. This world will miss our dear Aunt Joan

While suffering my second winter in New Brunswick, I met Joan and Frank in a peculiar way. They advertised a mobile home for sale in a 55+ park in Florida. They told me they were buying another in the same park, so I took a chance and bought it sight unseen! It turned out to be one of my life’s better decisions and they my best friends! Their friendship, caring, and compassion were invaluable, and I will treasure our time together forever. My deepest condolences to her extended family.

Andrew and I want to extend our sincerest
regret on the loss of your mother and also to all the grand kids she so adored.
She was the kindest, warmest Aunt I had. She opened up her home and heart to me whenever I needed a place to stay when I was visiting Fredericton.
I miss the outings we had in Fredericton - like the market and shopping. But not her driving - especially going down a run way street in downtown Fredericton.
She always found time to come visit with me when I was home from Ontario.
I will miss you terribly Aunt Joanie and will Love you always. RIP now you're with your maker and Uncle Frank.
