To Kelly, Shawn, and Chris, We just returned to home and learned of your Dad's passing, and a little more than two weeks after losing your Mom. Our deepest condolences. I recall my university days in the early '70's living in your basement on Squires St. Your Mom and Dad were so welcoming and patience with us! Your Mom even made me a pirate beer mug as a parting gift! ...such a nice lady. It is still on the shelf in my office at home. Your Dad was still working for the province at the time, but was also busy with a number of "sidelines". Well, we know some of the sidelines turned out pretty good! They were very proud of their kids and made sure we didn't subject you to any inappropriate conduct. All great memories and learning experience for me. We would meet occasionally over the passing years and they always exhibited how proud they were of their family and those grandkids. I am sure that you have many great memories to provide some comfort during this time of loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

very sorry to hear that Wayne and Reta have both passed away . very friendly couple .was always nice painting for reta at their house .had tea or coffee and a snack ready for break time , only difference we had in opinion was painting that round wall and 20 feet up.she said she will get me again when it needed done again . never again i said and wayne can fire me if wants ..lol.Looked after my mom when she had alzheimer's for 10 years / terrible decease / reunited in heaven after only 2 weeks . god has his homework on this one .thoughts and prayers to all the family

I wish to express my deep condolences to the family of Wayne Colpitts. I recall meeting Wayne when he worked for CN in Campbellton in the early 60s. Wayne and I had some interests in the Junior Chamber of Commerce ("JCs") and later I met Wayne when he was with Supply and Services in the provincial government, in Engineering. I was always impressed with Wayne's business acumen which he demonstrated in abundance as he built Colpitts Enterprises. An impressive, serious business man and Professional Engineer. We always want to congratulate people who are successful. I, for one, admired Wayne's successes throughout his lifetime. Wayne will be missed by our community. Again, I wanted to send the above noted message with my condolences to the family of Wayne Colpitts
