Obituary of Crystal Victoria Lee
It is with profound sadness that the family of Crystal Victoria Lee announces her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB on March 28th, 2025, at the age of 53, following a long-fought and courageous battle with cancer. Crystal was born in Sherbrooke, QC, on June 8th, 1971. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Linda Dostie (Yvon) of Mansonville, QC, and father, Michael Lee (Yolande) of Claresholm, AB.
Crystal leaves to mourn her husband, Neville Peasley; her children, Alexander and Elizabeth; and her beloved cat, Molly. She was a loving big sister to Trevor, Starr (Jason), and April (Alex) of QC, and David (Erin), Patrick, Dillon (Samy), and Rebecca (Scott) of AB. Her many nieces and nephews will always remember her as a special and outstanding aunt. Crystal is survived by her in-laws, Ruth, Ellis, and Ron (Melinda) Peasley. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Emma (2003); maternal grandparents, Gloria (1981) and Jerry (2015) Cabana; and paternal grandparents, Doug (2000) and Jean (2011) Lee.
Crystal was an exceptional and devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, always going above and beyond for everyone. After receiving her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1993, Crystal worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Her extraordinary attention to detail, love for her family, and compassionate nature will always be remembered and cherished.
Visitation will take place at McAdam’s Funeral Home on April 25th, 2025, from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Nasonworth on April 26th, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Robert McLean officiating. An interment is planned for a later date in Bolton Center, QC. For those who wish, donations in Crystal’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Chalmers Foundation.
