They say the mark of a good, decent person is remembering them, even if you haven't seen or connected with them in a long, long time. That was Biff.
If someone said to me, "Do you know Tom Mitchell?". I'd have to pause and think hard. But if they said, "Did you know 'Biff" Mitchell?", well, there wouldn't have been a microsecond of hesitation. Biff made that kind of impression.
Biff and I worked together about 3 decades ago. We, and a lot of people remembering him here, worked together at a computer-based training company. My god, what a lovely guy. Funny, quippy. Just. Biff.
Seeing some Biff'isms here flooded his personality right back into my head, like I'd last seen him yesterday. He made that kind of impression and impact.
When I heard the news just now, my heart dropped more than a bit. To all those who crossed paths with the wonderful Biff, my deepest condolences. My life was made better having known him all those years ago. Rest in peace Biff.
