I was so sad to hear the news of dear Sally’s passing. As co-worker, teacher and councillor at OHS, I respected her highly, and was grateful for her kindness and help in my own decision making. I was always happy to hear about her wonderful trips and adventures in retirement. My, and Ian’s, condolences to your family. Keep sailing on those “tall ships” Sally.

I have fond memories of Mrs Moore (I don’t think I ever called her Sally until I was in my forties) from our childhood on Lawson Court. Sally was my sister-in-law these past 30 years yet became a Sister to me in recent years. I will miss her kind encouraging spirit and accepting nature of unconditional understanding and love. She will always be remembered with fondness and we are shocked and saddened deeply knowing we won’t hear her voice again nor see her again this side of Heaven. Dave simply adored his big sister!
