Obituary of Beverly Ann Deveau
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Bev Deveau-Duncan, who passed away peacefully at her home on June 25th, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She fought the good fight with grace, strength, and dignity. She was born on November 25th, 1958 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Bev was known for her kind spirit, gentle humour, and deep love for her family. She touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Brian, with whom she shared many meaningful years. She was a wonderful mother to her two beautiful children, Michelle and Ryan Deveau, whom she loved dearly - a devoted sister, a caring aunt, and a dear friend to so many.
Bev took great pride in her work with Avon, where she dedicated many years and found both success and joy. She was a valued representative and was recognized for her commitment and accomplishments within the company. In addition to her work with Avon, Bev also worked as a representative at CIBC bank and as a beauty advisor at Sears, roles she enjoyed and in which she took pride.
Bev is survived by her loving husband, Brian Duncan; her children, Michelle Deveau and Ryan Deveau; her brothers, Paul Scott and Richard Scott; her sisters, Mary Scott and Theresa Hughes; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Laraine (Tanner) Scott, and her brother, Kenneth Scott Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honour Bev's memory on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at McAdam's Funeral Home, Fredericton, New Brunswick.
