Obituary of Dr. Robert A. Lord

It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Dr. Robert Alvin Lord, at the Charlotte County Hospital, on Sunday July 27, 2025. Bob was the husband of the late Ann King (Morse) Lord of Leverville, NB.

Born in Charlotte County on July 22, 1939, he was the son of the late Norman A. and Inez (Reed) Lord.

He is survived by his children Naomi (Steve) Verch, Robert (Charlene) Lord, Steven (Joanne) Green, Dr. Robert (Tracy) Green, Dana (Florin) Buduroi; brothers Ernest (Lila) Lord, Harry Lord and the late Norman "Billy" (Phyllis) Lord; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was a longtime member of the Canadian Veterinary Association. He worked as a large animal Veterinarian for the Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries for the Province of NB. He was a former member of the Canadian and American Kennel Clubs.  Bob enjoyed anything involving wood, fiddle music and good poetry.

At Bob's request there will be no visitation and a private family committal will take place. Family will be gathering at Elmsville Hall on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
