We all called her Mum-shoo, although I never knew how to spell it. She was the safe shelter from the storm, a welcoming and lovingly beautiful, non judgemental soul who fed us as teens and young adults, who played games and gave good advice when we asked for it. Who opened the doors to the family home at Christmas, and stayed up well past my bedtime I assume as I would make my way home at 4am. Did I mention the food? You could say how good it was, but you didn't have to, you just had this look on you face that said yum! Her laughter and her sense of optimism and hope will never leave me. So many other random thoughts...that time she dragged Renee to the airport to see me off to Australia, or when she came to my Mom's funeral, or when she would let Martin and I just be while Martin played endless guitar back in the early years. To the Robichaud's, my deepest condolences. Long will be the memory of Mum-shoo! With Love.
