Obituary of Ruby Robichaud

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre maman et grand-maman bien-aimée, Ruby Robichaud (née Gibeau) le 12 août 2025, à Fredericton, à l’âge de 90 ans.

Elle laisse dans le deuil son fils, Martin (Jacalyn); ses filles, Renée et Élaine (Glen); ainsi que ses petits-enfants, Alex, Ruby et Max.

Née à Montréal, Ruby a étudié à l’École des Beaux-Arts où elle a rencontré son mari, Roland. Elle était une maman et grand-maman attentionnée et tout le monde se souviendra de sa gentillesse, de son esprit chaleureux et des repas délicieux qu’elle préparait pour tous ceux qu’elle aimait.

Elle a été précédée dans la mort par Roland; sa mère, Irène; son père, Hermas; ses sœurs, Yolande et Shirley; et ses frères, Arthur et Léopold.

La famille recevra les condoléances au Salon Funéraire McAdam’s, le lundi 18 août 2025, de 16 h à 18 h.

En sa mémoire, des dons peuvent être faits à Fibrose Kystique Canada, à Autisme Canada ou à Fredericton SPCA.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Ruby Robichaud (née Gibeau) on August 12, 2025, in Fredericton, at the age of 90.

She is survived by her son, Martin (Jacalyn); her daughters, Renée and Élaine (Glen); and her grandchildren, Alex, Ruby, and Max.

Born in Montreal, Ruby attended the École des Beaux-Arts where she met her husband, Roland. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and everyone will remember her kindness, her welcoming spirit and all the wonderful meals she prepared with love.

She was predeceased by Roland; her mother, Irène; her father, Hermas; her sisters, Yolande and Shirley; and her brothers, Arthur and Léopold.

Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
