Fernande was the most positive person we knew. No matter how many curve balls life threw her way, she was always smiling and loving the beautiful day. We got to know her as she would regularly walk past our house on Woodbridge St. during her daily walks. She would always stop to chat and pat the dogs, and tell us how she was doing. We will miss her smiles, chats and positive love for life. Joanne and Steve Green

Fernande was a master puzzle maker. And she was a great observer of life and nature. With a tender smile and loving gaze she would make you feel special as she won the game.

My sincere condolences to Ted, and Fernande's family. I worked with Fernande at the Department of Tourism. I hadn't seen her for years, as our family moved to Quispamsis. Fernande was a dear sweet person and everyone loved her. Excellent colleague, whose "typing speed" couldn't be matched by anyone. My heart goes out to all her family. May you find comfort knowing she was fondly remembered. May you feel God's comfort and peace during this difficult time of loss. Dawn Lyons

Dawn thank you for the kind words. Fernande talked about you often so I could tell you were close. One story that Fernande would repeat many times was you were teaching on the WANG (?) and her being nervous she was scared she would do something wrong. You told she couldn’t do anything wrong. Then she crashed the system.It was you, right?

Our condolences to our dear cousins. Even with the hundreds of miles apart, there were times I felt she was sitting right here in my living room. She was our best cheerleader when my husband was going through his cancer treatments. She was a sweetheart and had the kindest words for all.
