Services

At Glenn’s request, no visitation or funeral services will be held. In lieu of funeral services, we respectfully recommend gathering with friends and family to share favourite memories, stories, and songs.

Memorial Donations

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Glenn may be made to Hospice Fredericton or the Canadian Mental Health Association.

My sincere heartfelt condolences to Jen Scott and Amy. I loved Glenn Dearly We worked on many films together and played a lot of music together as well. An unmatched sharp Wit and an absolutely magnetic and wonderful storyteller. We recorded some of my music together and Glenn had that Bluegrass gold in his voice. Much Love and til next time , thank you for what you did for me I'm so saddened by this loss. So blessed to have known this lovely man . Michael McDonald

I am going to speak about Glenn's musical characteristics… He had a beautiful velvety voice that was highly emotional especially in softer songs … He was also an excellent songwriter… With a highly developed skill for putting the exact right amount of syllables in each line and also the way that he positioned himself rhythmically within the composition was always appropriate… A combination of skills especially important to someone like myself who was a career long record producer… This morning on my walk up river I cited a bald eagle flying in the up River direction… The bald eagle is the highest animal representation of the astrological sign that both myself and Glenn share… Scorpio… He also shares the same birthday with the late Gordon Lightfoot… There are several similarities between the two… Sincere condolences to Jen and the family… Lloyd Hanson

So sorry for this loss. Glenn was kind, compassionate and talented. I worked with him on several occasions and always enjoyed his sense of humour and quite patience. I know that he was much loved and admired by the music and theatre community. RIP, Glenn

Glenn was a key member of the Harvest team in the 90's as our Technical Director and stage management guru. He spent many an hour with me helping me understand the in's and out's of the business and lord knows he showed tremendous patience with me throughout that entire period. I remember all our work together fondly because Glenn was smart, gentle, kind and patient while still demanding we do things as good as they could be done. My condolences to his friends and family and my eternal gratitude to Glenn for all he taught me.

Glenn was such a positive force in my music world in the late 80's and early 90's. I was so very fortunate to work with him as a member of Decade of Dreams and an early version of the Slokum Sistirs. Glenn sang on one of my song's "Mongolian Pony Ride " which appears on the amazing (and highly recommended) 'Life Time of Vacations " album by Decade of Dreams. Glenn's sonorous delivery of the lyric and melody remains a highlight of my creative life. Glenn's generosity permeated so many of his professional inter-actions . Glenn helped shape the foundation of many music and film organizations that continue to support and nurture projects all over Atlantic Canada. Listening now to "Pages You Turn " ...will miss his singing and presence ...Rest In Peace Maestro..Condolences to his family and friends

We would like to express our condolences to Jen, Scott, and Amy on Glen’s passing. We had the pleasure of spending time with him in and around Browns Flat as well as at their home in Quispamsis. We had some wonderful times together, and we know he will be sorely missed..He had a quick wit and an amazing sense of humour. We had many a good laugh together. He was at his best playing music.
