Obituary of Liam Camron Dempsey

With shattered hearts, the family of Liam Dempsey sadly announces he passed away on October 10^th, 2025, in Fall River, Nova Scotia. He was born on July 14^th, 2004, to Melyna Grenier (Michael Louvelle) and Ryan Dempsey, in Charlottetown, PEI.

Liam, from the beginning, was one of a kind. He was always finding ways to make people smile. He loved to play hockey as a child but as he grew older his passion for that sport absorbed into basketball. He was an avid reader and an absolute whiz at math. His favorite things, next to his Mom, was gaming, Pokémon Cards and of course, sleeping. If he wasn't in his room gaming, he was either cooking or hanging out with his friends, making the best memories.

Liam was in the process of getting his Red Seal, as all he wanted to do was cook. Liam had plans to travel the world to try different cuisines, so that he could find his niche.

Liam had such a unique personal style, with the most stunningly wild hair and a smile so big that it would immediately change your day. He wore his heart on his sleeve and lived his life holding nothing but love for everyone he met, especially his pets. His kindness and love towards everyone he knew was infectious.

Liam will be immensely missed by his mother, Melyna Grenier (Michael Louvelle); father, Ryan Dempsey; siblings, Olivia, Benjamin and Jaxon; grandparents, Lisa and Luc Moreau and Liz and Bob Dempsey; great grandparent, Jacquline Moreau; aunts, Katherine Warlich (Jeff Warlich) and Tara Bonsor (Rob Bonsor); uncles, Mike Moreau (Cynthia Moreau) and Jeff Louvelle (Natasha Louvelle); cousins, Isabelle, Spencer, Weston, Oliver, Blakely, Scarlett, Emmet, Madison, Jade and Reid; as well as countless great aunts, uncles, and second cousins; his friends, Carson, Chase, Anthony and far too many others to list.

Liam was predeceased by his uncle, Patrick Moreau and his grandparents, James Valentino, Catherine Valentino, Jacques Moreau & Angus C Morrison.

We would like to thank the paramedics, medical staff and to Maria for taking care of our boy in his most difficult time.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam's Funeral Home, Fredericton, New Brunswick. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 21^st, 2025 from 11:00am until 1:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm at the J.A McAdam Memorial Chapel. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, Liam would have loved to have all donations be made to the Oromocto SPCA or DunRoamin' Cat Rescue.

C'est avec le cœur brisé et avec tristesse que la famille de Liam Dempsey vous annonce son décès survenu le 10 octobre 2025 à Fall River, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Liam est né le 14 juillet 2004 à Charlottetown, à l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard. Il était le fils de Melyna Grenier (Michael Louvelle) et de Ryan Dempsey.

Dès sa naissance, Liam était unique en son genre. Il trouvait toujours le moyen de faire sourire les gens. Enfant, il adorait jouer au hockey, mais en grandissant, sa passion pour ce sport s'est transformée en passion pour le basketball. Passionné de lecture, il était un véritable génie en mathématiques. Ses activités préférées, après celles partagées avec sa mère, étaient les jeux vidéo, les collections de cartes Pokémon et, bien sûr, dormir. Lorsqu'il n'était pas à gamer dans sa chambre, il cuisinait ou passait du temps avec ses amis à créer de merveilleux souvenirs.

Liam était en étape d'obtenir son Sceau Rouge, car tout ce qu'il voulait, c'était cuisiner. Il prévoyait parcourir le monde pour découvrir différentes cuisines et trouver sa voie.

Liam avait un style unique, une chevelure aux boucles incroyablement rebelles et un grand sourire qui transformait instantanément votre journée. Il avait le cœur sur la main et vivait sa vie en n'éprouvant que de l'amour pour tous ceux qu'il rencontrait, surtout pour ses animaux de compagnie. Sa gentillesse et son amour pour tous ceux qu'il connaissait étaient contagieux.

Liam manquera énormément à sa mère, Melyna Grenier (Michael Louvelle); à son père, Ryan Dempsey; à ses frères et sœurs, Olivia, Benjamin et Jaxon; à ses grands-parents, Lisa et Luc Moreau & Liz et Bob Dempsey; à son arrière-grand-mère, Jacqueline Moreau; à ses tantes, Katherine Warlich (Jeff Warlich) et Tara Bonsor (Rob Bonsor); à ses oncles, Mike Moreau (Cynthia Moreau) et Jeff Louvelle (Natasha Louvelle); à ses cousins, Isabelle, Spencer, Weston, Oliver, Blakely, Scarlett, Emmet, Madison, Jade, et Reid; ainsi qu'à d'innombrables grandes-tantes, grande-oncles et cousins ​​au second degré; à ses amis, Carson, Chase, Anthony et bien trop d'autres pour tous les énumérer.

Liam a été précédé par son oncle, Patrick Moreau, et ses grands-parents, James Valentino, Catherine Valentino, Jacques Moreau et Angus C. Morrison.

Nous tenons à remercier les ambulanciers, le personnel médical et Maria pour avoir pris soin de notre garçon dans cette période difficile.

Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés à la Maison funéraire McAdam, à Fredericton, au Nouveau-Brunswick. Une visite aura lieu le mardi 21 octobre 2025 de 11 h à 13 h qui suivie d'une cérémonie funéraire à 13 h en la chapelle commémorative J.A. McAdam.

Pour ceux qui le souhaitent, au lieu de fleurs, Liam aurait souhaité que tous les dons soient faits à la SPCA de l'Oromocto ou à DunRoamin' Cat Rescue.
