Dear Wayne and family, it wasn't until reading her obituary that we realized that Lera's middle name was grace. Surely few people have embodied a name as fully as Lera embodied grace. Grace in her movement through the world. Always grace-filled in her conversations, relationships and especially in her many years of service on the Benevolent Committee at church. It was there that I got to experience and learn from her example of grace. While we celebrate Lera's welcome from Jesus with the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant," we know the days will be hard for you and the family. I love these lines from William How's hymn, "For All the Saints Who From Their Labours Rest," for they remind us that we are always "one in Christ" : Oh blest communion, fellowship divine! We feebly struggle, they in glory shine; Yet all are one in Thee for all are Thine, Alleluia, Alleluia!" With love Greg, Margaret and Claire Geldart
