Obituary of Jolynda Lola Hawkes

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jolynda Lola Hawkes announces her passing on October 23, 2025, in Fredericton, NB.  Born on April 26, 1981, in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Constant Lavoie and Leta Middleton. 

Jolynda was a loving mother who enjoyed an eclectic love for music, art and dancing. She had a beautiful singing voice and favored gospel music. Jolynda would often have little dance parties in the kitchen with her daughter. Jolynda had a unique sense of humor and was always quick with a witty response. She also had great compassion for those struggling and in need.

Surviving are her children, Ceysn Middleton-Hawkes (Majestic McMillan), Ayden Middleton-Hawkes and Taylyn Middleton-Hawkes. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her grandparents, Martha and LeRoy Middleton. 

A celebration of Jolynda’s life will be held, Friday, October 31, 2025, at 2:00 pm,  from J.A. McAdams Memorial Chapel.
