Obituary of Doris Good

It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Doris Good, which occurred at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Fredericton, on November 7, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Bathurst, NB, she was the daughter of Earl and Hazel Jagoe.

Doris is survived by her sons, David of Florenceville-Bristol and Jeffrey of Fredericton; grandchildren, Ryan Good, Bryana Murzyn (Tyler) and Emma Good, and great grandchildren, Connor and Lillian Murzyn. She is also survived by daughters-in-law, Mary (Robert) and Kathy Good.

Doris was predeceased by Roland, her husband of 52 years, and her son, Robert. She was also predeceased by brothers, Chester "Chet", Ross, Raymond, Brian and Blake.

Mom will be remembered for a life full of love and the simple joys shared with family and friends. In addition to her family, Mom cherished her many lifelong friends, sharing decades of laughter, milestones, and memories. In later years, Mom continued to make lasting friendships that felt just as strong and meaningful. She enjoyed playing bridge, Dusty Sneakers classes, walking outdoors and baking delicious desserts. She will be remembered for her radiant smile – a smile that could light up any room.   

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory of Doris may be made to St. George's Anglican Church, Bathurst. Arrangements are in care of McAdam's Funeral Home.
