Saddened to hear of Mike's passing but gladdened to learn more about his full and loving family and life. Dale and I met Mike and Dianne all too briefly on a cruise from Tampa, Florida organized by Palm View Gardens in Zephyrhills, Florida. We enjoyed hearing Mike's stories and warmth. We wish we could have known him better and hear a few more. We will miss him and think of how he enjoyed his life.

Dear Dianne and family, We are saddened to hear of Michael's passing. During his time at AECL he was so enthusiastic cooking and sharing his culinary talents and always had a little sample for me. Every lunch hour he had his sleeves rolled up happily preparing great tasting dishes. He loved to cook. I’m so saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. I was just driving by The Captain’s Pantry this past weekend with my children and telling them about the times I worked there. My deepest sympathies to all his family and friends. I worker all through high school for Mike at the pantry in Belledune and still to this day remember him telling me not to cut the lettuce too small as ceasar salad was to be eaten with a fork and knife.
