William “Bill” MacDonald

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of William “Bill” Murdrick MacDonald on November 30, 2025, at Hospice Fredericton. Born on July 2^nd, 1946, he was the son of the late William Robert and Joanna Marie (Hooft) MacDonald.

Bill will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Carol (Messer) MacDonald; sons, Mark, Kirk (Allie), and Faron MacDonald (Megan); grandchildren, Aralyn, Lexi, Livy, Isaac, Lola, Phoebe, as well as extended family. Bill was predeceased by his infant son, Ryan Allison MacDonald.

By Bill’s request there will be no formal services. Interment will take place at a later time in the Harvey Community Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
