So sorry to hear of Phil’s passing. He was the Landlord of the building on Prospect Street when I worked for C21, also the one on Queen when I worked for ReMax. Great smile, lovely blue eyes. Turns out I bought the house his father built at 671 Aberdeen, we had some chats about that. He will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to the family and all who knew him.

I am deeply saddened with the loss of Phil. Phil will always be a special man in my life. He was a father figure to many. Phil was the best listener and story teller. He was the most creative person and could make the most interesting things. I will cherish memories of watching antique road show with him, sneaking him greasy food and chatting about life and his awesome kids. Phil was the least judgemental person and had the biggest heart. The best part of Phil was that he created himself with his son Stefan. Stefan holds the face of Phil, the creativity, the passion and kindness of his dad. We will make sure we always talk about him. Love you Tori, Verena, and Stefan!

Our sincerest condolences to the Folkins family. I had never met a more kind, gentle and patient human being. Phil was like a second father to Jesse and took on the role of Grampy to Lennon - oh how she loved visiting Phil. You are missed already
Rest peacefully.
Our love,
Janet, Jesse, and Lennon

Growing up, I have many fond memories with the Folkins family. Victoria and I spent so many weekends together, and Phil always felt like a second father. During yard clean-up, he always included us, which often turned into ATV rides around the yard and bonfires.
On Friday nights, we’d often find Phil in his workshop, happily working away on one of his many hobbies. He always made us feel safe and cared for, offering gentle guidance and a warm presence.
Phil was a kind and gentle soul, and everyone who knew him felt his goodness.
My heartfelt condolences to the Folkins family during this difficult time.
Rest peacefully, Phil.
With love,
Erika
