Obituary of Philip Albert Folkins

It is with a heavy heart that the Folkins Family announces the passing of a beloved husband and father, Philip Folkins. Born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, son of Albert J. Folkins and Helen Johnstone. Phil was a local Fredericton business owner, entrepreneur and landlord - but most importantly, a true family man.

Philip was an honorable gentleman of few words, but what he did say, counted. His humor, wit and kindness shone through all his life, and he always put others before himself.

In addition to his businesses, he had a wonderful passion for refitting vintage lamps, jukeboxes, and creating metal art pieces, a hobby he enjoyed for many years.

Philip passed peacefully in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Verena, his son, Stefan, and his daughter, Victoria. He was beloved by all, and he will be deeply missed.

There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Philip's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
