Obituary of Ruby Pearl Phipps

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ruby Pearl Phipps announces her passing on December 12, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 96. Ruby was born on December 26, 1928, in Southhampton, NB, to the late Whitfield and Viola (Bates) Lenentine. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

In her early years Ruby was a school teacher. She was a woman of faith and was actively involved with home groups for many years. Although Ruby had no children, her nieces and nephews were like her children, taking an active interest in their welfare.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter, brothers, Edison and Raymond, as well as sisters, Zella, Freda, Marion and Nellie.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be at McAdams Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11:00 am. For those who wish, donations may be made to the organization of their choice.
