Obituary of Lucia Gallant

The family of Sally Lucia Antoinette “Tia” Gallant are heartbroken to announce her unexpected passing on December 13^th, 2025 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born in Moncton, NB, on April 9^th, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Janet (Lee) Gallant.

Tia will be missed by her son, John and his daughters, Gabrielle and Summer; siblings, Gerald, Jack (Rita), Marylee (Robin), Roger (Sandy), and Lori; many nieces and nephews, and her friends at Grace Bridal.

Tia spent many years in various careers, including sales for a printing company, journalism at the Daily Gleaner, and as a PSW.  She was a seamstress at heart, however, and was able to follow her passion and run her own sewing business for several years.

In her spare time, Tia enjoyed being outdoors, and loved to fish.  She was an incredible cook and loved baking, especially if it was a treat for her beloved granddaughters. Spending time with her girls meant everything to her, and she never missed an opportunity to spoil them.

A private family gathering will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tia’s name made to your local SPCA, the IWK, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be left at www.mcadamsfh.com.
