Obituary of Ruhinda Peter Ruganda

It is with profound sorrow that the family of Ruhinda Ruganda announces his passing on September 11, 2025. Ruhinda is survived by the love of his life, his son, William. He was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was predeceased by his parents, John Ruganda and Flavia (Eben) Otuteye, as well as his older brother, Ruhundwa.

Ruhinda was a selfless and generous soul who found purpose in helping others. He consistently put the needs of those around him before his own and was a strong advocate for those who required support. He faithfully served at Fredericton Word of Faith Family Church, where he coordinated social events, assisted members in need, and served as an usher.

Ruhinda cherished time spent with his son, William, especially cheering on the UNB Reds men’s and women’s basketball and hockey teams. A gifted culinary expert, he had a remarkable talent for transforming simple ingredients into unforgettable meals. Every family dinner carried his personal touch, and his loved ones knew what it meant to experience food prepared with love.

Above all else, Ruhinda was most proud of his son, William, who was the greatest joy of his life. Ruhinda will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
