My tribute to Donna,
I have a fond memory of Donna and Daniel visiting Austin, TX. Donna, Latima, and I had fun bonding, giggling and doing girl talk about life, and our kids. We went to the grocery store and she brought some raspberries. When we got home she shared some with me, but they weren’t sweet enough for me. She laughed and said “good , that’s more for me”and we both laughed. Every time I eat raspberries now, I laugh and think of Donna. Daniel met my other grand-boys and they hit it off right away. Donna, thank u for always being beautiful inside and out. It seems like once you become friends with Donna u are friends for life, and we just pick up where we left off last time every time we talked. Donna is such a jewel, a quality diamond of a person. Donna, your mothering skills are off the charts. I am still amazed that you raised your beautiful son, Chris and then had enough love and patience to raise 2 more boys from Texas, Daniel and Evan Timothy. You and Bernie will always be heroes in my family’s minds and our lives. God used you mightily in this life and now I believe that you are receiving your crown to place at Jesus feet and receiving many rewards in heaven.
Words can’t express my deepest gratitude for you! And my deepest sympathy that we will not be to enjoy your beautiful presence on this side. But I plan to look you up on the other side. Prayers for your entire family and close friends. We are missing you so bad, but you have graduated to heaven and that is the goal for all Christian’s. Donna, thanks to you and Bernie again , and your entire family for blessing my family many times over and for being a great friend!

Dear Bernie, Daniel, and family,
Tina and I are so very sorry for your loss. Auntie Donna meant so much to us, and I am so grateful that she and Tina had the chance to meet, even with the distance between us.
These past years were such a difficult time, yet she always seemed happy to reach out and share how she was doing and what she had been up to. One memory I will always hold onto is how excited she was to talk about everything she bought at Toys R Us to spoil our new nephew. It truly brought a smile to our faces.
Please know you are in our thoughts. We are here for you as needed and are looking forward to seeing you soon.
With all our love and deepest sympathy,
Jordan and Tina

I was so sorry to hear that Donna, a wonderful and lovely woman inside and out, and a cherished friend from our high school years, has passed away. I don’t know you, Bernie, but I would say you are a lucky man to have been married to Donna, and please accept my condolences. Beautifully written obituary. ❤️

Dear Bernie,
It was with great sadness that we learned of Donna’s passing. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Her memory immediately brought us back to the warm welcome we received from both of you when we visited Fredericton from Trinidad and Tobago on August 14 -23, 2023. Despite her own health challenges at the time, Donna’s kindness, generosity, and caring spirit made our visit truly worthwhile. We will always remember the lovely dinner we shared at the Hilton, and how her hospitable nature made us feel at home. We are deeply grateful to have had that moment with her, and we will cherish the memory of her grace and warmth. May the God of all comfort surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
With deepest sympathy,
Mark Wuddivira, Juliana Wuddivira (wife), Glorious Wuddivira (daughter), and Victory Wuddivira (son)

We were saddened to hear about Donna's passing. We have known your family for years now and watched with admiration how you raised three amazing children. The obituary is very well written and we loved the line that says, "Donna was a kind, caring, and generous person whose presence brought warmth to everyone around her.". That sentiment rings so true for us. She will be sorely missed but there are so many wonderful memories to treasure. Rest In Peace.

Our sincere condolences to Bernie and family. Donna and I go back to our teenage years, when we shared crushes, laughter, and a deep and lasting friendship. Her genuine kindness, generous heart, and welcoming home… always open for gatherings and regular Saturday night parties, helped shape friendships that are still part of my life today.
Life, as it does, eventually led us on different paths however, we remained connected and continued to share in each other’s lives. Donna’s recent struggle showed her true spirit, always hopeful and appreciative of the small things in life. I will miss her dearly and will always be grateful for the special place she holds in my memories and in my heart.

Donna and I were friends in high school, and though life took us in different directions, we stayed in touch over the years. One of my fondest memories is a wonderful overnight visit with Donna and her husband, Bernie, when we were out East. Her kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness were evident in everything she did. Donna will be deeply missed and warmly remembered.

I am saddened to hear of her passing. I didn’t know she was ill. She was such a sweet and kind person. She would make me her famous zucchini bread when she would stop by my office. She really was a bright star, always happy and smiling. So thankful to have known her. Rest in peace, Donna.
