Obituary of Ferne Grace MacNaughton

Ferne Grace MacNaughton 94, died on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ferne was born and raised in McNamee, New Brunswick.

She leaves her daughter, Ann Carol LeBlanc (Ted); her son, Glenn Stewart MacNaughton (Kellie Hanson); two beautiful granddaughters Katie Ann LeBlanc (Colin Turnbull) and Emily Grace MacNaughton; and many special nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by; her spouse, Karl Glenn MacNaughton; her parents, James E. Stewart and hazel M. Stewart (Clowater); and her siblings, Harriet Demont, Cecil Stewart, Carl Stewart, and Alice Vroom.

Most beloved in her life were her family.

Ferne was a wonderful, caring, loving lady, who always had a kind word and warm smile.

A memorial service will be held at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11 am, with Rev. Mary Tingley officiating. Interment will be held at Sunny Bank Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation - 4E
