Dear Jack and family. It's Kathy, Alan's sister, here. I am so sad to learn that Violet has left us. I only had a chance to meet her a few times. But she left a wonderful impression! So sweet and warm, and outgoing! I will always remember the incredible hug she gave me at our Mom's burial. It was a "knowing" hug; she knew exactly what I was feeling and it comforted me. I'm sure you all know that hug, too. Take care of each other. I wish you peace and a ton of wonderful memories to help you through.

Jack and family. I was so sad to hear of Violet’s passing. She truly was, without a doubt, the most amazing and loving person I have ever had the pleasure to know. Violet was so much like her mom, I can remember many years ago when she lived on Main Street in Fredericton and her mom would come to town for a visit. We always got together and played many games of cards. Her legacy lives on Jack.

You may not remember us but when you and Violet lived on Waggoner's Lane years ago, Wayne and I would babysit for you while you and Violet went out. We were only dating then, and will be married 55 years in October, but we've always kept you both in our memories. At that time, your only daughter you had was Shelly.
