Obituary of Stacey Leon Stewart

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Stacey Leon Stewart, who was called home on January 26, 2026, at the Dr. Everett Chalmer's Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born on September 1, 1968, Stacey loved spending his free time building model cars and playing video games, a passion that brought him comfort, joy, and connection with those he loved. He also held a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Shilo.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Glenna Stewart; his sister, Tammy Brewer (Tracy); his niece, Rebecca Lauzon (Nick); his nephew, Matthew Brewer; his great-nieces, Paisley Lauzon and Emma Brewer; and his great-nephew and favorite gaming buddy, Hunter Lauzon. He is also survived by his aunt, Diana Collett, and cousin, Melissa Collett.

Stacey was predeceased by his father, Leon Stewart; his paternal grandparents, Jackie Stewart and Henry Stewart; his maternal grandparents, Amelia Meade and Wilfred Meade; his uncles, Harold Collett, David Stewart, Michael Meade, and Toni Stewart; as well as his beloved dog, Shilo.
