The Keenan family feel blessed to have met Frank a few years ago when our daughter started her engineering studies at UNB. He connected with her through hockey but was so much more than "just a fan", attending almost every home game with his grandson. Frank was always a supportive, friendly, down to Earth light in her life. He cheered her on from the stands, and was a wonderful example of community, including her in his friend group, making her feel a part of Fredericton (not just the engineering building), and sharing his life story with her. Frank was an inspiration, made us all feel welcome on our visits to Fredericton, and will forever be remembered fondly by our family.

Dear Dawn, Steven, and your families.
So sorry for the loss of your wonderful dad and grandfather. He always spoke so highly of all of you. It was a true pleasure getting to know him these past years. Such a down to earth and kind man. We always found it charming how any compliment we gave about his house or seasonal decorations he would give full credit to your mom saying he was just doing it as Anna taught him. Both your parents were such lovely people. Please know they are missed by so many.
Sincerely, Ron & Heather

I first met Frank in 1979 when we were building the new Saint John Correctional Centre. My first impressions were that he really knew his stuff, was very personable and that he had no Dud's in his stable. When he or his staff went to a site they always knew what they were looking at and were there to ensure quality and compliance. Over the next 31 years we did many projects together. The Shippagan Marine Centre, the Fundy Marine Centre, ( these projects enabled Fishers to get their very large and small boats lifted out of the water, travelled to a large parking area, deposited into their cradles, repaired / maintained and put back into the water in a very short turnaround time. These projects required Robust understanding of designing and constructing in Coastal Conditions . Frank and his team provided that to us We did countless School projects, District Garages for Transportation, Marysville Cotton Mill, and countless small renovation/repair projects. I look at his picture and I see Honesty, Integrity, Knowledge, Understanding, Leadership, Commitment. all the Hallmarks of success in Family, Business and Community Life. He is without a doubt one of the most iconic Engineers I ever had the pleasure of doing business with in my career. I am sure he will be remembered in his Community and in his Profession in the same way.
