Obituary of Shelby Lynn Kierstead

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shelby Lynn Kierstead announces her sudden passing on February 23, 2026 in Moncton.  Born on October 10, 2006 in New Westminster, BC she was the daughter of Ross and Diane (Cartier) Kierstead. 

Shelby was a force to be reckoned with, brilliant beyond her years, strong-minded and unforgettable. She has left a lasting mark on all who knew her.  She loved camping and playing soccer.  She was attending Oulton College in Moncton, studying to become a paramedic.  While in Moncton, she dedicated her time at a shelter helping out where she could and using her skills in basic health care.

Besides her parents, Ross and Diane, she is survived by her sister, Samantha (Will Marshall); boyfriend, Xander Campbell; grandmother, Marilyn Koblentz, FL.

There will be celebration of life for Shelby at Faith Baptist Church at a later date.

Donations in memory of Shelby may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
