Shocked to hear of his passing. I remember his speech when he was competing to be valadictorian. It was funny and sincere, that’s why I voted for him. He was fun to know and be with. From fellow 1985 grad, Dr. Vona MacMillan

Dear Carol Ann, Tyler, Chantelle and family, please accept my sincerest condolences on Tom's passing. I remember playing soccer with Tom in our younger years. What a warrior he was on the field with his skill, competitiveness and leadership; and his love of life off the pitch, sense of humour and intelligence. With my deepest sympathy and respect, Shannon

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I cannot say that I knew Tom to any great depth and breadth, but I played FHS Black Kat soccer with him. I am actually standing right beside him in the 1984 FHS yearbook Black Kat Soccer picture. What I can say is that I remember Tom as a great guy and teammate, and I am proud to have known him. In high school, he was one of the good guys in my opinion. My condolences to all that knew him and loved him. Ed

This is so sad to hear… I remember Tom as being a centre of all things going on at Fredericton High School back in the day! What a great guy in so many ways as attested to in that wonderful obituary. My condolences to his family and friends. I added a few pictures of Tom from the high school yearbooks 1984 and 1985.

My sincere sympathies to Carol Ann, Chantelle, Tyler, Dani and families. Very sad news . Tom was a great guy, only positive memories of him from junior high through high school , basketball and soccer through the years. Grateful to have seen him and to have met Dani at our reunion last summer. Taken far too soon.
