Obituary of Eugene Justin Yeomans

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eugene Yeomans announces his passing on March 11, 2026.

Gene was born in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick on August 24, 1963. He had a love for the ocean and joined the Canadian Navy after high school. His career took him to various places domestic and abroad. On his retirement, he and his wife, Kate, moved to Fredericton, NB.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth "Babes" Yeomans of Plaster Rock, NB; sister, Emily Yeomans of Plaster Rock, NB; brothers, Eric Yeomans (Eve) of Trenton, ME and Emery "Lefty" Yeomans (Beth) of Hartland, NB, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by family friends and his BFF, Cindy.

Gene was predeceased by his wife, Katherine (Kelly) Yeomans; his father, Emery A. Yeomans, and infant brothers, James and David.

Respecting his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations to Crohn’s & Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
