Obituary of Jason Edward Blunston

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Edward Blunston on March 14, 2026, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on April 26, 1974, in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Peggy (Babineau) Blunston and the late Jack Blunston.

Jason loved the outdoors, no matter what season it was. He enjoyed going jeeping and snowmobiling. His happy place was the camp, fondly named Quitcherbitchen. This was his place for relaxing, enjoying the outdoors, and being himself.

He will be missed by his loving wife, Jessica (Good) Blunston; children, Jake Cogswell (Courtney Niski), and Joel Blunston; grandchildren, Jaylin, and Trey; mother, Peggy; mother-in-law, Anne Good; sister-in-law, Diane Curtis; brother-in-law, James Good (Loudes); his fur buddy, Jax; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as a huge community of friends.

In addition to his father, Jack, Jason was predeceased by his brother, Cory Blunston.

The family wish to thank all of the doctors and nurses who cared for Jason. A big heartfelt thank you to his sister from another mister, Mary Ann, for your presence, care, compassion and support to Jason and the family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
