Hi Liza,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of being friends with Andy for close to 50 years, and he will be deeply missed. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make it to Fredericton tomorrow, as I am en route to Orlando for meetings and a trade show.
Please pass along our sincere condolences to Doris, Joanne, Gary, and your family. I had a good conversation with Andy on the phone a few weeks before he passed, which I will always cherish.
Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

Liza & the Mockler Family,
On behalf of the Visram Family and the Vista Hospitality Group, we are very saddened to hear of the passing of Andy Mockler and prior to that his brother Alan, twins and great individuals. Our family has known the Mocklers since 1996, when we first met Eugene Mockler (Pete) as our legal counsel on a matter that we were working on in Moncton, NB. Since that time, we got to know both Alan and Andy and over the course of time our families became great friends and connected quite frequently over the years.
Andy, and his brother Alan were always individuals that cherished life to the fullest, were great business people and at the same time companions and family friends that will be truly missed. Andy’s humour, conversational skills as well as ability to discuss matters on a transparent and direct basis was always well received.
For Andy, I know first hand how much it affected him when Alan passed away. To say that he was heartbroken is an understatement.
My family and I pray that Andy and Alan’s soul rest in eternal peace and tranquility, as they are both together in the heavens.
We will always cherish the beautiful memories we shared.
On behalf of our family, we convey our deepest sympathies and condolences to Mrs. Doris Mockler, Liza, the children and the entire Mockler family.

I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Andy' passing so soon after his twin Alan just last year. I knew both boys from childhood and again, much later, at university. Our UNB Student Union hired their late father Eugene's 'Mockler, Allen & Dixon' law firm to defend the students through years of battles with the university administration. Andy and Alan built businesses that served students on campus and people around Fredericton for years, growing up into major businessmen in the community. I am very happy they built families and left behind a next generation to continue their work. As children, both Andy and Alan faced serious health challenges. My late mother was their Grade 4 classroom teacher and she praised the twins' resilience and perseverance despite all the odds. God gives us lives to live, and I am happy to know that Andy and Alan both lived theirs to the maximum. I extend the sympathies and condolences of our family to yours in memory of both Andy and Alan... may you remember and cherish them forever!
Sincerely, John Bosnitch

Liza,
My deepest condolences to you and your family.
Andy and Alen were a very integral part of our start in Canada, and every time I spoke with him, he expressed how much respect he had for my family — especially my dad and mom. He was a truly a special man. In fact, I had just spoken with him last week, and we had planned to go for a coffee.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

At Christmas time, Andy prayed a wonderful and beautiful prayer, and he told me he joined a weekly prayer group. Andy is in heaven celebrating with Jesus. Andy graduated. God bless you and your family. I will do my very best to come for June 7. Love Sam

Uncle, I wouldn’t be where I am in my entrepreneurial journey today without you. You’ve been an inspiration to me from such a young age. You brought me into your world, taking me to the office, even to meetings with the former premier of New Brunswick. As a teenager, I didn’t understand everything, but I knew it was something special, and I was in awe of what you were building. You were not a quitter. Failure was never an option.
A part of me always wanted to make you proud, and when you told me you were, it meant everything. From that moment on, I just wanted to do more, to become more. Growing up, I would tell myself, “One day I’ll own this, one day I’ll own a building, one day I’ll be like my uncle.” You were my inspiration, and you always will be.
And those Post-its… if I lose one, I make everyone look for it. You and Alan definitely have something to do with that. Those who know, know.
We shared so many incredible memories and stories. I’ll never forget when the twins came into the world, two beautiful little souls and I had no idea what to do with them. Mémère was cleaning their faces while I stood there, never having played with Barbies before, I was always more of a car girl, a bit of a tomboy. But what a journey that became. Those two cousins turned into something so much more like brothers and sisters to me.
What a life. What an incredible childhood. The trips, the time at the cottage, in Shippagan… we truly lived it all. I will carry those memories with me forever.
Take care of poupou, poupoune, and your amazing wife from up there.
I will never forget you. Rest easy, Uncle Andy.
Love you,
Elisa

My dear Doris
so sorry to hear of Andy's passing. We go a long way back to when I worked at the bank of Montreal, when he was just a teen-ager, to when I got into real estate and we did many dealings together. He, like Allen, will be missed, I'm sure, not only in his personal life, but in the business world. My prayers are with you, Gary, Jo-Anne, and his family....Now united with Allen, may he rest in peace.

Liza, Alyssa and Alex,
Words can not begin to express the sorrow we feel for your loss. Andy was truly a very special cousin.
Although there was 500 miles of road between us, he always made me feel very close.
Every visit was filled with stories of our youthful pranks out at the lake or more of the same running around Alexandria St
Every phone call included stories of Alyssa and Alex’s latest accomplishments.
We are so thankful for our most recent visit with Liza, Andy, Doris and Joann out at the lake. Sharing laughter, stories and cherished memories.
With all our love,
John and Nancy
