John; Hazel only the other day, informed Elke and I of this sad and bitter news. Ann and I graduated together, out of that FHS '75 class and though my affiliation with the Harvey family was principally through you and the music, naturally, I recall Ann running about on a Saturday afternoon or other, looking for a misplaced jacket or a pair of running shoes or a book she claimed you had borrowed - while Sean, Mike, you and I were rehearsing some tune or other for the Red and Black ... Oh! did I forget "Jack"?
Fond memories of a kinder gentler time that I'll carry to my end. But enough. Elke and I extend our deepest sympathy in this difficult time and I trust you know all to well, that this too shall pass, Sir.

I am deeply saddened to read of Ann's passing, far too soon. I worked with Ann when I practised in Fredericton, and I know her mother Flo from my summer jobs in the "lab", also her dear brother John. Ann was an exemplary physician who touched countless lives over her career. She was a wonderful support to me three years ago when I spent many months at the DECH supporting my brother after his stroke. My sincere condolences to her family.

Dear Dino...Thinking of you at this sad time. Your description of Ann's life, of your adventures and enjoyments together, and of the care she provided to both parents (Flo and your mom), and as a doctor to many people, all these aspects are so beautifully captured in this obituary. I will remember the party she gave for her mom (Flo) on the occasion of her 90th birthday. It was a loving tribute to her parent who was and is my friend. Sympathy and prayers are sent to you and all of Ann's family...mother, brother and all relatives of hers and yours. May God in his loving care receive her into paradise. Carole Dilworth

Ann was a kind and generous soul who cared deeply for her family and patients. I had the great pleasure of working with Ann as a hospitalist for several years and she was a wonderfully supportive colleague. I could rely on her for good counsel on difficult patient matters and for a sympathetic ear when needed. We grumbled together and laughed together as the “old ladies” on the Hospitalist team.
Ann entertained large gatherings in her lovely home with her beautiful gardens. She hosted effortlessly along side Dino, the Master Pizza Chef and they made everyone feel welcomed and well fed.
Dino, our thoughts are with you as we mourn the loss of a good and special person.

I am so sorry to read of Ann’s passing. Ann and I were friends in high school, but lost contact after graduation. I often thought of Ann, even just recently, wondering how and where she was now, not realizing she was back here in Fredericton! We had actually first became acquainted through a mutual past acquaintance, as young children, then reconnected in high school. I wish we could have reconnected again since those days. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May God be with you and bless you all.

We were so sorry to hear about Ann’s passing, and you’re in our prayers daily. We’re so grateful for all the fun times we had with you both when we passed through Fredricton on our way to Ontario or back to Halifax. It was really lovely to get those opportunities to know Ann better, over dinner, birthday cake, or the farmer’s market. It was also so incredible to see the love and care Ann had for her mother, and for Anna, while she lived in NB. We’ll certainly miss her place at the table when we visit ❤️

Fr. John, My heart breaks for you and yours at the loss of your dear sister Ann. I met Ann only once, many years ago when she was 'filling in' at the Brookside Clinic, but I still recall our positive interaction: I could immediately see why she was so highly valued as a family physician. My condolences to each and every member of Ann's family, and I give thanks for her invaluable and dedicated years of medical practice here in Fredericton, and for a life well lived. You are in my prayers.

This made my heart hurt. I met Dr Ann when I was a patient in the hospital. I spent months in the DECH after a spinal cord injury. Dr. Ann would sit on my bed and talk with me. I had to lay flat for several weeks and it was nice to have conversations. She was just so compassionate. I ran into Dr. Harvey and her husband at Canadian Tire months later. I gave her a big hug and she readily accepted it ....
I ended up with long hospital stays during Covid. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Harvey again. It was over Christmas and on Christmas morning she bought he a handmade Christmas morning.....
To her husband and family, I write this with tears trickling down my cheeks. Thank you for sharing this wonderful human with the world. Dr. Ann was smart, humble, hip ,funky, loving, caring and so very compassionate......
The world will be a little dimmer without Ann in it. I hold you all in my thoughts, prayers and close to my heart . God Bless and God Speed Ann Harvey.

Dino and family, I am so sorry to hear about Ann's passing. Ann helped me navigate the system and provided support during John's illness - I don't think we would have had the same outcome and amazing memories if it were not for her. On a brighter note, I will always cherish the memories from our visits to Capobello and the many evenings of great food and great company with you and family.

Dino and family, so sorry for your loss. Ann was a good friend to Connie and I. She was a good friend to many people. When we were all a bit younger we would go on outings to the "outback", whether it was skiing, hiking or canoeing. These gatherings were often followed by soup and sandwiches back at her place. Ann's primary concern was always everyone's welfare. She would often be the focus of the event not only because she had technical skills to share and but also because she was a natural born story teller. She was always able to engage people and hold their interest when it was story time! Her passion for life and her interest in people always made you glad to be around her. We will miss her.

Shortly after my mom passed away I received a call in the palliative care unit at the DECH. It was Dr Harvey, offering her sincere condolences to my family and I. I knew Ann only through the bank where I worked. We would often have great chats when she came in. I was so touched by her thoughtfulness that night and have never forgotten her. To all her family I offer my sincere condolences. I was very sad to hear of her passing.

I am saddened to hear of my childhood friend’s passing. Ann and I grew up together in Fulton Heights and met in grade one at Park Street. As happens after high school everyone travels down their separate paths and loose touch. I would hear glowing comments about Ann from mom when Ann would be relieving her doctor. Definitely a light gone too soon. My condolences to her husband and all family.
