Wow, Leona and Family, I'm here to say how my husband, Rod and mother, fondly known as Burnsie spoke so often of Alfred. I was so glad to share memories of him through the Levine Family Retail Store and Abe Levine and Sons Scrap Metal. Mr. Brown, when referring to the metal yard employees would often say, "Burnsie and Rod, what Scrappers they were!" We were also fortunate to have met with Iaan also. May they Rest in Eternal Peace. Blessings, Rod and Cathy Burns Lyons.

Dear Leona and Family. It is with my very deepest condolences that our good and always smiling friend, Alfred has passed. Joe and Alfred were buddies in their teen age years and lasted until Joe passed. With such a warm reception Alfred would visit us while they were in the same "scrap yard" business. We were always welcomed in Leona and Alfred's home and enjoyed reminiscing about the good old days. Alfred will now be with his son, Iaan and family. May his Memories be a Blessing to us all.
My Sincere Sympathy,
Mona Vender

My first job as a young teenager was working for Mr. Brown. It was in the old Zellers Mall on Prospect street. I worked in the ice cream stand in the middle of the mall just outside of the Zellers store. We sold pizza too. I loved working there and it was quite a change for a young teenage to come into the City from Fredericton Junction to work. Life was easy back then and most of the time we didn't know how good we had it. My sincerest sympathy to Mr Brown's family and all of his good friends. He loved to talk. LOL He lived a long life. May you all cherish your great memories of him.
