Our sympathy to all the family on Alma’s passing. She and Bud were such faithful people and always strong supporters of both community and church events. I remember how supportive they were in always attending our Tuesday night card parties in Newmarket, as well as our church suppers. May your memories ease your grief. Our sympathy. To Mary, Frank, Jim, Terry and the entire family. Please accept our most sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Alma. She was a wonderful lady and devoted Mom . She was always proud of all of you and I am sure that you will always be proud to call her Mom. She loved her McAdam community and served it well. Alma and Bud were lifelong friends with my parents Betty and Earle Essensa and I have lots of great memories of saturday nights spent at the McDades place while the folks were out to the dance. They had a lot of fun in those days. We can hope they are getting together again. God Bless. Dave and Marilyn Essensa

I want to tell you how much I care and feel for you, dear Jim and all the members of your family. I met your parents in Toronto when they visited there. I was immediately struck by their gentleness, humour, practical wisdom and their love for their family and community. I'm glad that I met them. I felt their spirits very powerfully. They had a lasting effect on me. I see them in you, Jim and your brother Terry. May your hearts be consoled by your family and friends as you gather to celebrate Alma's life.
