It is with great sadness that the family of Yvette Agatha Godin of Fredericton, New Brunswick announce her passing on June 2nd, 2026 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital (the DECH). Born in Lorne, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Olive (Furlotte) Godin.

Yvette is survived by her son, Troy; grandchildren, Brandon, Brianna, Duncan, Dallas, and Madison; brother-in-law, Willard (Bonny); as well as nieces and nephews, Ann, Darrell, Valmond, and Joanne.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her partner, Kenneth; her sisters, Jacqueline (Donald), Hilda (Russell), and Valerie; her brother, Valmond, and an infant sister.

Yvette loved her crafts and would travel to many craft sales with her wares. She also loved to make pickles, and was known in her apartment building as “The Pickle Lady”.

The family would like to thank Integrity Home Care, especially Lindsay, who enabled her to stay in her own home as long as possible. Also, thanks to the staff on the DECH 4NE & 4NW for their excellent care.

McAdam’s Funeral Home has been entrusted with her final arrangements. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4th, 2026 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm in the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel.
