Dear Joan and family, John and I are deeply saddened to read that Bob has passed away. He was a bright light at the Parkinson’s meetings, the “banker” holding the collection bag and telling us that it was time to donate some more loonies to pay for the hall rental. He was always smiling and so personable and you were blessed as a loving couple. We have thought of both of you so often during your journey. I was so sorry to hear about your husband’s passing. I’ve been thinking about the day he and another friend came to visit my dad when I was with him near the end. Even in such a difficult moment, his caring nature and light-hearted sense of humor shone through. I still remember him joking that the secret to a happy marriage was that the woman is always right.
