Jack also worked for Radio Canada, with Gérard Jolivet and others. Great guy, great cameraman and person.
Only fond memories of that man.

Dear Cookie, Stephen, Peter and Kevin,
I was saddened to hear about Jack’s death. At the same time, it brought back great memories from my time working with him at CBC New Brunswick. We had great fun, and I was thankful for his kindness and ( mostly) patient attitude in working with a green kid who knew everything… My deepest condolences, Carole MacNeil

My sincere condolences. Jack was a great guy to work alongside - even though we worked for rival newsrooms. Always the best dressed cameraman in town and a true gentleman.

Cookie and family, we are so sorry to hear of Jacks passing. Jack was a great guy and neighbour. Jack always had that great smile and positive attitude. We always knew spring had finally come when you both arrived back in Wickham. We enjoyed it when he would take time from his daily walks to stop and chat.
Also we appreciate how kind you both were to Robert. It was a huge highlight for him to go to the Gagetown fair with you.
May your many wonderful memories and family help make this time a little easier. You are in our thoughts.
Ron & Linda

My deepest condolences to all of Jacks Family members, friends and loved ones.
I first met Jack " High Atop The Grandstand " at EPR in Saint John where he, his father John and his brothers Brian and Barry all played a large role in video taping the harness races and also operating the photo finish booth.
Another great memory from my high school days was going to visit Jack at the brand new CoJac Photography Studio that he and Cy opened up in the building at the corner of King and Prince William Street in Saint John.
He was a very good man and a great friend of my late father through their shared media work.
May you rest easy Jack.

I was saddened to hear of "Jacks" passing recently. He was one of a kind who shared his knowledge of photography willingly. I worked with Jack for a short time at CHSJ-TV prior to him moving on to CBC. He shot all of our news clips on black and white film, and developed it in time for broadcast daily. A great hockey and baseball player as well, who enjoyed time with co-workers when time permitted. A great pioneer in our early years of broadcasting who will be missed by all who knew him. Condolences and prayers to "Cookie" and family.

Dear Cookie, Stephen, Peter and Kevin. Faye and I are so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. We have so many fond memories as your next door neighbours on Roberts Lane for so many years. Jack was always so generous with his time and had a great sense of humour. One of my best memory's was when we went with him while he was filming the implosion of the old Saint John General Hospital in 1995. Jack will be greatly missed.
