Obituary of George Edwin Price
The Price family is saddened to announce the passing of George Edwin Price on July 24, 2026 at Hospice House in Fredericton, New Brunswick after a brief illness. He was born on August 1, 1950 in Lawfield, New Brunswick to the late Charles and Helen (Morehouse) Price.
George was the youngest of eight and spent his childhood in Harvey, New Brunswick before moving to Fredericton, where he met the love of his life and wife of 53 years, Judy Elaine (Lamont) Price. He ran his own business, PVL Disposal for many years and spent the last 18 years with his son working by his side. He retired in 2008. During retirement, he worked as a custodian for the School District. Later in life, his biggest joys were his two beloved granddaughters. If George wasn’t spending time with the girls, he would be mowing the lawn on the tractor or shining up his truck.
George will be sadly missed by his wife Judy, their son Aaron (Erin); granddaughters, Lauren and Allison; sister, Audrey Patterson (Mike); brother, Roger Price (Barb), and many extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Cameron; brothers, Allen (Marie) and Herbie (Erma), as well as his sisters, Eileen Sinnett (Lawrence), Betty Goodine (Eugene), and Marion Brown (Ronald).
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Ryan Pawsey and the staff at Hospice House for their care.
