Obituary of Dr. Dean Douglas Snow

It is with sadness that the family of Dr. Dean Douglas Snow announces his passing on July 28, 2026 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on May 21, 1958 in Sarnia, Ontario, he was the son of the late Douglas and Dorothy (Bayliffe) Snow.

Dean graduated from UNB with a PhD in clinical psychology and worked at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital as a health psychologist.  During his career at the hospital, he worked primarily in oncology and cardiac rehab. He possessed a deep passion for life’s simpler pleasures. He loved to travel and experience the world firsthand, was an avid reader who spent countless hours expanding his mind, and held a profound love for a wide range of music. These qualities brought immense joy to his life and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Left to mourn are his son, Brendan Snow, Toronto, ON; brother, Duart Snow (Jan), Vancouver, BC; and his common law spouse, Suzette Martin; in addition to Brendan’s mother Beth and three nieces of the Harwood family of Sarnia, ON. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Margot Snow (Allison Robichaud).

Visitation will take place at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 12 to 2pm; a funeral service will take place following the visitation at 2pm, in the J.A.
