Obituary of Lyla Alexandra Sandilands

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lyla Alexandra Sandilands on July 30, 2026 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on September 29, 1967 in Ormstown, PQ, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Joan (Worthinton) Sandilands. 

Lyla enjoyed knitting, reading and cooking.  She loved to listen to all types of music.  She had a great love for animals, especially cats. 

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine. 

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Donations in Lyla’s memory may be made to the Fredericton S.P.C.A.
