Obituary of Mabel St-Pierre

On August 1st, 2026, Mabel passed away peacefully at the Shannex - Thomas Hall in Fredericton. Mabel was born on July 28th, 1925, and was predeceased by her husband, Aimé, and brother, Harry Murphy

She leaves behind her daughter, Lyne St-Pierre-Ellis (David Ellis) and her sister-in-law, Huguette Murphy.

Mabel lived in Edmundston for most of her life and was active in the community including establishing a bowling league for kids and was president of the hospital auxiliary. After her husband passed away she moved to Fredericton, NB, where her daughter resides.

Per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. A burial will be held in Edmundston at the Immaculée-Conception Cemetery. Donations in Mabel's memory may be made to the SPCA.
