We are so very sorry.We knew Donna from our Monday Meals On Wheels delivery. Her positive spirit blessed me each visit. When Covid hit we gave up our commitment but I called Donna to check in. The words you wrote about your mom are beautiful as she was . So sorry!

I have known Donna for 37 years. She was a dear dear friend. Donna babysit our daughter Lisa when she was a toddler. Her love for the Lord Jesus greatly affected my life and she was instrumental in the walk I have with the Lord today. I never met such an openly giving kind soul in all my life. I will miss my friend for a time but I know she is in the arms of her Saviour and one day we will meet again. Donna and I never had a conversation that she didn't tell me how her children and grandchildren were doing. She loved you all with all of her heart. So very sorry to learn of your mum's passing...I just found this out tonight. I check the obits now and then since we sometimes miss getting our paper and oddly enough I was reading your notice just as Duncan arrived from Calgary with his wife and new baby boy. I had planned to visit and bring William or at least a photo....Your mother was very good to Duncan. We certainly appreciated her care...Such a lovely lady! Now she is with your dad. I hope she didn't have to suffer too much or too long. I have no idea how we missed seeing your mum's obituary notice before now...A shock for sure! Maybe our Lord planned this. Otherwise we would very likely never have known and that would not be something we'd want to have missed. Our Sincere Sympathy, God Bless you all Andy, Jean and Duncan
